EMAIL USRETURNS & EXCHANGES
Our Returns & Exchange policy has been designed to be as easy as possible!
We accept returns on full-priced items for store credit or exchange if returned within 14 days of receiving your order.
To qualify for a return:
Products being returned must be unworn, unused, undamaged, not tampered with and properly protected.
We do not accept returns on:
Engraved jewellery
Sale items
Gift cards
Items purchased with a discount code or during a sitewide promotion can still be returned if they meet the above conditions.
How do I make a return?
- You will need to pay for postage when returning the item.
- We recommend using registered express courier as we are not liable for any lost items in the post. You can also contact us to arrange collection with our couriers at R125 one way.
What is the guarantee policy?
We want you to feel confident wearing your jewellery every day.
All jewellery is covered by a 1-year guarantee from the date of purchase, which includes:
- Broken clasps
- Loose settings
- Faulty links
Our guarantee does not cover:
- Tarnishing from exposure to cleaning products or chemicals.
- Oxidation caused by naturally high skin pH levels.
- Accidental damage, misuse, or general wear and tear.
Please note that while our jewellery is crafted from premium materials, proper care is essential to maintain its quality and longevity. Our 1-year guarantee does not cover items that have been subjected to misuse, neglect, or excessive wear. We kindly recommend referring to our care guide for best practices on preserving your jewellery.

What if my item is faulty or incorrect?
On the rare occasion your item has a fault, please email us at hello@leighavenue.co.za with your order number and a photo, and we will sort it out for you straight away.
ENGRAVING AND CUSTOMISATION
Engraving services are offered on most Livi Road bracelets.
Every bracelet includes a front-facing gold bead with the Leigh Avenue logo.
Your engraved beads are placed around this bead depending on how many you choose.
For special engraving requests, please contact us via the website chat bot function or email hello@leighavenue.co.za. Our team will be happy to assist.
RESIZING SERVICES
We offer custom resizing services on all Livi Road bracelets. Our Livi Road bracelets all measure 18.5cm in length. Should this be too big or too small – please get in touch with us.
Resizing services are offered at R90 per piece.
Should you receive your pieces and then request a resizing, you would need to pay for postage when sending the items back to us and we will cover the cost of returning them to you after resizing.
To avoid disappointment and ensure that you are satisfied with our sizing and dimensions – please refer to our size guide HERE.
REPAIR SERVICES
Return shipping is at the customer’s expense, unless your item is faulty or incorrect. If something isn’t right with your order, please contact us and we’ll resolve it with care.
SHIPPING
How much is shipping and when will my order arrive?
We offer standard and express shipping throughout South Africa.
- Standard shipping: Free for orders over R1500, or R125 for orders under. Delivery in 2 - 4 business days.
- Express next day shipping: R175 for next business day. Orders must be placed before 10am to ensure this is possible.
- Engraved Jewellery: Free for orders over R1500, or R125 for orders under. Delivery in 4 – 6 business days.
- Engraved Jewellery: Express Customisation Service: R300. Lead time is 3 – 4 days. R175 Express delivery fee needs to be added onto this to ensure order is received within 3 – 4 days.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary by location or during busy periods.

MY ORDER
How do I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive an email with tracking details.
Follow the link to view updates. If tracking hasn’t moved after a couple of days, contact us - we’re happy to check on it for you.
Can I update my order or change my shipping address?
If your order hasn’t been dispatched, we’ll do our best to update it before it ships - just contact us via the website chat bot function or on hello@leighavenue.co.za.
Can I cancel my order?
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Once your order has begun processing or been dispatched, unfortunately we’re unable to make cancellations.
At that point, standard returns or exchanges may still be possible.
PRODUCT & MATERIALS
Leigh Avenue is committed to creating high-quality jewellery using only premium materials.
Each piece is designed by our Founder, Leanne Kirkel, in Johannesburg, South Africa, with the belief that luxury should be accessible and help you feel beautiful and confident every day.
Are your pieces waterproof?
Livi Road – while these pieces are created using premium UV plated enamel beads – due to their intrinsic nature – we do not recommend heavy water exposure (swimming, bathing and exercising).
Pata Pata – created using resin acrylic and 18k gold PVD e-coating, these bracelets are tarnish-free and waterproof.
Elevated Basics – created using premium Japanese Miyuki beads,freshwater pearls and natural stones - these bracelets and necklaces are tarnish-free and waterproof. Please be advised that wax coated cord, due to its intrinsic nature, may fade in colour over time when exposed to heavy water elements.
Untamed - created using 14k gold PVD e-coating and premium plated silver , freshwater pearls and natural stones - these charms, earrings and necklaces are tarnish-free and waterproof. We recommend being mindful when using perfumes, lotions, or entering saunas to help preserve their finish and quality.
Elements of Desire – these bracelets are created from glass beads and freshwater pearls and are tarnish-free and waterproof. Please be advised that wax coated cord, due to its intrinsic nature, may fade in colour over time when exposed to heavy water elements.
Are your pieces hypoallergenic?
Yes. All of our jewellery is completely nickel- safe and lead-free, making it a safe and thoughtful choice for even the most sensitive skin.
We design and manufacture all our bracelets and necklaces in South Africa, blending local inspiration with high-quality materials. Our earring components are ethically sourced abroad, and assembly and manufacturing take place locally in South Africa.

Can I request a custom design?
While we don’t offer fully bespoke designs, many of our pieces can be personalised and engraved.
If you have something specific in mind, feel free to reach out - we’re always happy to explore what might be possible.
How should I care for my jewellery?
To keep your jewellery looking its best, store it in a dry place, out of direct sunlight. Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and other harsh chemicals.
After wear, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth to remove any residue and restore shine.

Do you offer gift packaging?
Yes. We offer a wide variety of gift packaging. This includes standard pillow boxes that come in 2 different sizes as well as premium gift boxes and suede pouches. Options available can be seen when ticking ‘Choose your gifting or packaging options’ once product has been added to cart.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes. For R30 per piece, you can add gift wrapping and our signature Leigh Avenue ribbon and choose which items to wrap.
Can I include a gift message?
Yes. You can add a personal note at checkout or on the product page after adding your product to cart.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, we offer digital gift cards.
Digital cards are delivered instantly by email and are perfect for last-minute gifting.
How do I redeem a gift card?
Enter your gift card code at checkout to apply it. Gift cards have no expiry date.
PAYMENTS & PROMOTIONS
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, along with Google Pay and Apple Pay and EFT payments.
We offer Buy Now Pay Later options through RCS, Zapper, Mobicred, Payflex, Float and Happy Pay.
Can I use more than one discount code?
Only one discount code can be used per order. Codes can be used together with our buy 3, pay for 2 offer.
Discount codes cant be used for sale items or gift cards.
Promotions
Our buy 3, pay for 2 offer is not applicable to sale items and does not apply to stacks as these are already discounted.
